Counseling is my passion!
I fell in love with psychology in my very first University of Louisiana class. I couldn’t and still can’t get enough of the subject. In 2007, I was privileged to live my passion and began seeing clients and deepening skills taught through schooling and trainings. The skills I use utilize a therapeutic approach that involves growth, unfolding and full development of the individual within a gentle and non-judgmental atmosphere. As a client you will have the opportunity to overcome blocks where upon you can become free to make decisions, experience personal power, and create a new and more satisfying life.
My Beliefs
I believe in the power of the skills I teach so fully that I use the skills myself in my own life and relationships. I help individuals gain power over anxiety, dysfunctional relationships and/or patterns, disempowerment, decision making, depression, fear, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and stress.
The reason I am so passionate about working with people struggling with these problems is because I experienced many of them myself. For years, I’d lived in a torment of self-doubt, depression, anxiety and disempowerment. Once I started applying the skills that I learned I immediately started to get relief. I stopped living from a place of disempowerment, ended a dysfunctional relationship, became more confident and stopped beating myself up for “mistakes” I’ve made. I am living proof that through the application of the skills you too can gain freedom from your inner torment allowing you to transform into the powerful and confident person inside you that is waiting to be unleashed!
